Together We Build to Harvest Hope…Project 2026: The Impact Vocational Skills Training Center in Foindu Village, Northern Sierra Leone.

BUY A BRICK CAMPAIGN UPDATE | IMPACT SIERRA LEONE | APRIL 2026

It Started With Hands on the Ground

On February 15th, something quietly powerful happened in Foindu Village, Sierra Leone.

No grand ceremony. No fanfare yet, Just the people of Foindu — men, women, and a few dedicated Impact Sierra Leone (ISL) volunteers — gathered on a piece of land with one shared understanding: that transformation is worth showing up for.

They mixed sand. They moulded bricks. They arranged them, one by one, with the kind of care that only comes when you know what is being built is bigger than any single pair of hands.

And then they came back. On February 28th, they did it all over again.

Two Saturdays. One rising dream. Four hundred bricks out of the 7,500 bricks needed for the construction of the facility, finding their permanent place on the ground — each one a testimony of what happens when a community decides that enough waiting has been done, and that now is the time to build.

These are not stock images. These are not simulations of progress.

This is Foindu village, Northern Sierra Leone. This is real. And this is what your generosity looks like when it walks off a screen and onto the ground.

Why This Building Matters

The Impact Vocational Skills Training Center in Foindu Village is not just a building. It is a door. For young women who need a skill that will feed their families. For young men who have talent but no space to grow it. For an entire community that has been rich in potential and short on infrastructure for far too long.

When this center is complete, it will offer trade and vocational training that empowers the underserved — giving people in Foindu the tools to build livelihoods, not just survive them.

7,500 bricks are needed to complete this structure. With two activity days behind us, the bricks are rising. But we are not done yet. And we need you to stay close.

You Are Not a Donor. You Are a Builder.

When you give to the Buy a Brick campaign, your donation doesn't disappear into an account somewhere. It becomes something physical. Something you can point to on a map in Foindu Village and say:

"I helped build that."

Every brick that goes down carries your name on it. Every layer added brings an entire community closer to a future they have been working toward — and that you are helping make possible.

Here is how your generosity translates on the ground:

No amount is too small. Every brick counts. Every brick is needed

We Will Keep Showing You the Work

That is our promise to you.

We do not want to simply tell you transformation is happening in Sierra Leone. We want you to see it. To feel the weight of those bricks in your hands — even from a distance. To watch this building rise, Saturday by Saturday, because you decided to be part of it.

This is the beauty of this partnership. You are not a spectator. You are a builder, and every layer of this story belongs to you just as much as it belongs to the people of Foindu.

Be Part of the Build

The bricks are being laid. The center is rising. And the people of Foindu Village are showing up — because they believe something better is coming.
