Spread Hope Campaign 2026: School Supply Donation Drive Is Here! 📚🎒🎆

This July, as we celebrate the spirit of independence and freedom, we are so excited to share that Impact Sierra Leone has officially launched the Spread Hope Campaign 2026 School Supply Donation Drive!
Because true freedom begins with opportunity — and opportunity begins with education.
From Friday, July 3, 2026, through Friday, July 17, 2026, we're inviting our friends and partners to help us spread hope. Our goal is to collect school supplies that will be packed into 350 backpacks, spreading our efforts across two communities:
300 backpacks for children in our partner community of Foindu Village, Northern Sierra Leone
50 backpacks for children in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area
The Heart Behind Every Backpack
This December, through our Christmas Day of Hope Outreach 2026, these backpacks — filled with essential school supplies and other necessities — will be distributed to children and families across both communities.
Every backpack is a pathway of success — a way of telling a child, "Your dreams are worth investing in." A pencil becomes the tool that helps a child write their first story. A notebook becomes the space where a big dream takes shape. A backpack becomes the vessel that carries a child, step by step, closer to the future they deserve.
This effort directly supports Seed 4 of our Seeds of Life program: Education & Youth Empowerment (E.Y.E.) — providing quality educational and vocational opportunities for children, young adults, women, and persons with disabilities. It advances UN Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, because every child, no matter where they're born, deserves access to the tools that help them learn, grow, and thrive.
